Skype

I know this is going to sound like some kind of endorsement, but this is seriously good. Actually it isn't that good without a headset, but I highly reccomend investing in one. Skype is a free telephone and i-chatting type thing. We've been using it at work, and it allows my boss to hassle us from NY for FREE.
